Bandage – is a piece of material used either to support a medical device such as a dressing or splint, or on its own to provide support to the body.

Benign – refers to a condition, tumor, or growth that is NOT cancerous.

Birthmarks – is a benign irregularity on the skin which is present at birth or appears shortly after birth, usually in the first month. They can occur anywhere on the skin.

Blood – the familiar red fluid in the body that contains white and red blood cells, platelets, proteins, and other elements.

Bloodstream – the flow of blood through the circulatory system of an organism.


Body – the physical structure of a person, including the bones, flesh, and organs.

Bumps – the raised area of a bump or bruise results from blood leaking from these injured blood vessels into the tissues as well as from the body’s response to the injury.
